Yearly Examination Block Reminders

All students will continue to be reminded of all HSC and IB expectations over these next few weeks through their respective cohort meetings. Information regarding these expectations are linked for students in their IB and HSC iLearn pages. For all students:

  • All students should arrive to examinations at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the examination time in full school uniform.
  • No students should be driving to or from school. Students have been asked to arrange for being dropped off or taking public transport to school on examination days.

HSC Student Reminders and Expectations

This week, Mrs Lucy Benjamin, Dean of HSC, spoke to the HSC cohort about their upcoming examinations and their option to change or drop a class as they begin YR 12. The presentation is linked in the HSC Core iLearn Page for students to refer to and a few key items are listed below:

  • Students must email SSAbsence, Mrs Lucy Benjamin and Ms Alissa Ynson if they will be missing an examination due to illness or misadventure. A doctor certificate will be required for any examination missed due to illness dated on the day of the examination.
  • If students would like to make any changes to their schedule for Term 4, they are encouraged to begin speaking with appropriate staff now (i.e. classroom teachers and Mrs Benjamin) prior to submitting their schedules in Wk 9.
