Junior Music Festival 2023
The 2023 Junior Music Festival A Night With The Stars was certainly a night to remember! Our cohorts shined, cocurricular ensembles dazzled, and our Arts Captains Cameron Lloyd and Elysia Angus kept us captivated throughout the evening. A particular highlight was the finale, in which all 450 students graced the stage in a triumph of logistics! It truly was ‘The Greatest Show’ and the Music Department are incredibly proud of the achievements of all students.
A big thanks to all involved, in particular our Friends of Music team whose contributions ensured the success of the event.
A video is being produced of the event and we look forward to sharing this with families in due course.
Jam on Toast Incursion
TG, Kindergarten and Year 1 students were lucky enough to attend a concert this morning by one of their favourite composers, Jamie, from Jam on Toast. Students have been learning Jamie’s songs in their curriculum music lessons, and enjoyed meeting the composer and singing and dancing along. The students’ favourite songs were Papa’s Making Pizza, Fingerplay, Good Morning and Fabuloso. Jamie’s songs are full of wonderful learning opportunities, and above all are a lot of fun!
