Dance Awards 2023 | Celebrating 25 Years of Dance at Redlands

It has been 25 years since the Ballet and Dance Academy was introduced to Redlands, so our upcoming Dance Awards is the perfect time to celebrate. Parents, carers and family members of students involved in this event are invited to join us at Norths Cammeray for what promises to be a wonderful night.

Please note this is a compulsory event for all Senior Academy and Curriculum Dance students.

Saturday 5 August – Classes Will be Held on Senior Campus

On Saturday 5 August, there will be no classes held on the Junior Campus due to a planned power outage.

All Dance classes usually in Parkes Hall will be held in the John Roberts Centre Music Hub. Entrance to the Senior Campus is via the Gerard Street gate, and the gate will be open from 7:45am. The John Roberts Music Centre is the building to the left as you enter via Gerard Street. There will be signs directing you to the John Roberts Music Centre.

All class times remain the same and students will be escorted to and from the Adams Centre by Academy staff.

Academy this Week

Here are our youngest Academy ballerinas at class on Tuesday, showing how beautifully they can point their toes. Well done Bambino Ballerinas!

Eisteddfods

Well done Juliet Whelan (Year 8) and Ady Lee (Year 7) who both received 3^rd place at The Ultimate Dance Challenge for their Classical Solos.

ABSENT or AWAY FROM CLASS 

If your child is sick or will miss their class, then please complete our ABSENTEE FORM. 

Private Lessons: If your child cannot attend their scheduled private lesson, please contact their teacher direct to cancel. Please cc dance@redlands.nsw.edu.au and grevie@redlands.nsw.edu.au.

Please note that where less than 24 hours notice is given, private lessons will be charged as received.
