Our International Community
Redlands has a network of over 20,000 Alumni locally, interstate and globally. We continue to ensure the important connections with our community are nurtured and developed through the Redlands Alumni engagement program, which includes interstate and international reunions.
This term we met with our Alumni in Melbourne and are having Zoom session with Redlanders residing in North America next Friday.
Redlanders Gathering in London
An enormous thank you to Pauline Lyle-Smith (RL 1963) who opened up her London home for Redlanders residing in the UK and provided refreshments. It was an excellent opportunity to connect and reminisce about their time at Redlands and to share stories of their journeys since attending the School.
This group has set the ball rolling for more similar gatherings later this year and beyond and we are already receiving updates from others wanting to participate at regular events!
Liggins Restoration Appeal
A sincere thank you to all members of our community who generously supported the Liggins Restoration Appeal. The Liggins Building is the only remaining element of our school grounds linking almost 100 years of Redlanders.
A significant schedule of works has been undertaken during the holiday break which included the refresh and upgrade of classrooms, a home for languages.
The second stage is currently in place to further refurbish the top floor which will also be a communal area with an incredible Heritage wall acknowledging our 140 years old history. There is still an opportunity to make a donation towards the Family Plaque.
