Year 10

Rowing

Last weekend saw much of our program attend the NSW State Championships. This regatta has grown over the past 5 years to now have a level of competition that makes it effectively a miniature National Championships. While the level of competition is high, our students still achieved some strong results with Angus McInnes (Yr10) winning both a Silver and Bronze medal.

Some particular results for Year 10 include:

CMU16 4x+: 3rd in Final (T Whitney, R Beggs, Z Borness, A McInnes, Cox: A Koopmans)

CMU16 1x: 2nd in Final (A McInnes)

CWU17 1x: 7th in Semi-Final (J Hugman)

Career Assessment for Yr 10 2023

As part of the Yr 10 Careers Program, and ahead of the Stage 6 Course and Subject Selection Process, Redlands offers a career assessment opportunity to all Yr 10 students. Redlands have engaged Career Avenues run by Dr Marian Kratzing, a Careers Psychologist. Dr Kratzing has developed a unique career profiling system which she and her colleagues provide to many independent schools in Sydney. https://careeravenues.com/

We encourage every student to participate in this opportunity, as the results are interesting and surface important questions prior to the Stage 6 Course and Subject Selection. The exercise also provides a great start for research into potential tertiary courses and future pathways.

A letter was sent home to all parents and carers, however if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact:
