Legacy Gift Class of 2023

I was delighted to attend the Yr 12 Assembly to share with our students the history and importance of this initiative for Redlands.

I was impressed to hear from student leaders for the word LEGACY means for them and it was very clear that the they have a full understanding that this is something which memorable and creates long lasting impact for the School.

This initiative, launched in 2016 by Yr 12 students, brought lots of important and memorable “assets” for Redlands while building our Culture of Giving:

• Alexandra Scott Award for Sportsmanship and Teamwork
• Contributions to means-tested scholarships
• Ping Pong table which will be placed at the top terraces
• Environmental initiative and raising awareness of sustainability.

Students will have an opportunity to volunteer next year in various areas and enhance their skills in leadership, teamwork, communication and time management.
