Community Update

As a School we continue to pursue a journey that positions Redlands as a leading contemporary and innovative school inspiring students to adapt, create and thrive in our complex global community.

At the heart of this journey is our community. We recognise the vital role our wider community plays in the prosperity of Redlands and remain committed to providing opportunities for feedback on our performance. With this in mind, we will shortly be inviting you to complete a short survey of your feedback.  The survey should only take a few minutes, is anonymous, does not collect any personally identifiable information. Thank you for your consideration and contribution within this important process.

We are delighted to announce that our recently postponed Spring Fair has been rescheduled to 18 March 2023 as the first Redlands Autumn Fair. Thank you again to our dedicated and passionate volunteers and staff for your efforts in the preparation of the Spring Fair. Further details of the Autumn Fair will be announced as this year unfolds.

Our Second Hand Uniform Sale continues this week and clean, pre-loved uniforms can still be donated through the Uniform Shop up to and including Friday, 16 September. A sale of these uniforms will be held on the Junior Campus this Saturday 17 September. This Redlands Parent and Friends Association led initiative enables us to recycle pre-loved uniforms back into the community while raising valuable funds for our means-tested Redlands Foundation Scholarship Fund. My thanks to the army of volunteers and our Uniform Shop for their assistance in delivering this important event.  For more information on this initiative and upcoming community events and photos, please visit the RPFA section of Note Day.

Our alumni of Redlanders can be found locally and globally and it was a pleasure to welcome London resident, Pauline Lyle-Smith (Redlander 1963) back to the School this week. For more information on Pauline’s visit, along with information on the Melbourne Cup Luncheon and our Redlanders Mentor Program with our Year 11 cohort, please visit our Foundation section.

Thank you for your continued guidance and support and, as ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the Community Engagement team should you have any feedback, suggestions or questions.
