University and Careers

We enjoyed meeting with our Class of 2023 at their Year Group meeting this week and getting them started on planning and preparing for their post-school journeys. Parents, carers and students were emailed a copy of the Career Information booklet which contains a summary of the key information relevant to Yr 12.

UNSW GIE FEAS Program

The pathway program for girls to UNSW Engineering is open for registrations for 2023.
For students going into Yr 11 and 12 in 2023 who are keen to get involved in a hands-on real world engineering project, and find out how engineering can make a difference in low-resource communities. Places in the program are capped at 100, so register now. 

 

Holiday Workshops

NIDA | Acting 101

Monday 12 December 2022, 9:30 am – Friday 16 December 2022, 4:30 pm
NIDA – National Institute of Dramatic Art, Kensington

Sharpen your performance skills through a comprehensive workshop with a theatre practitioner drawing on NIDA acting techniques. Develop key principles of actor training, and extend into characterisation and scene work. Interpret, rehearse and present some of the most exciting writing produced for young people today.

 

Notre Dame | A Day in the Life of a Uni Student

Thursday 15 December 2022, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
The University of Notre Dame, Sydney
You can explore student life by taking part in a variety of taster lectures, workshops and activities at either of our two Sydney Campuses.
On our Broadway Campus, get a taste of our Arts & Sciences, Business, Education, Law and Philosophy & Theology programs. On our Darlinghurst Campus, you’ll discover the labs, consult rooms and simulated wards for our Nursing and Medicine programs.

No matter which location you choose, there will also be plenty of time to chat one-on-one with academics, staff and current students, take a guided campus tour and enjoy tasty treats. Our friendly Student Advisors will also be available for personalised Advice Sessions to help you understand your UAC preferences, provide specific course advice and share insights into the application process.
