RPFA

Secondhand Book Sale

This year’s Secondary School used textbook sale will occur on Monday 5 December. Through this sale, the RPFA aims to reduce paper wastage for environmental benefit, keep the costs of textbooks down for families and donate disused texts to charitable organisations who distribute them to communities that will continue to benefit from them. Thank you for supporting these objectives by participating!

On Monday 5 Secondary School students are encouraged to bring in their used textbooks for donation and drop them off to volunteers at the Gerard St entrance. They can also submit an order form to buy second hand current edition textbooks for 2023 and collect their 2nd Hand 2023 Books from the Gerard St Entrance that same afternoon.

Students currently in Yr 6 can also purchase second hand textbooks for Year 7 2023 by handing in their order form at the Junior School Office the morning of Monday 5 December and collect their books that afternoon from the Junior School Office.

Current edition textbooks will be sold within the Redlands community. Previous editions no longer used at Redlands will be donated to other communities who will welcome and use them. To simplify the process, all used text books will be donated, similar to the second hand uniform sale process. The price for second hand textbooks that you purchase will be 50% of the Box of Books new price. The amount of your total purchases will be added to your school account next year.
