Community Update
It was such a pleasure to catch up with a large number of our community at the Redlands Melbourne Cup Luncheon earlier this week. My thanks to all those who attended and supported this much-loved event through their participation in all of the event’s activities. We are delighted to advise that more than $30,000 was raised at the event in support of the Dr Sue Morey AM Scholarship. A special note of thanks to our event partners and sponsors who gave their time, services and products so generously. For more information on the Melbourne Cup Luncheon, along with a spotlight on an award winning Redlander, check out the Foundation section in today’s Note Day.
A warm welcome and thank you to our new RPFA Committee members, Emma Okhovat, Jaqui Halliday, Sophia Stewart-Kasimba and Carrie Taylor who were each voted on to the committee at last week’s Annual General Meeting. The RPFA continues to keep our community connected, included and supported within the many and varied aspects of school life and their support and guidance remains invaluable. Our committed and generous volunteer members highlight the vital role our wider community plays in the growth and prosperity of Redlands and we are ever grateful for their contribution. If you are looking to connect with our community groups then please reach out to the passionate and diverse experience of our Class and Year Group parents, the RPFA and Friends of Groups that support Redlands families.
