Transition Gold/Redlands House
The Transition class have been very busy this term using a variety of resources to explore mathematical concepts. Introducing numeracy concepts in early education pays dividends for a child’s school readiness and future learning. At Redlands House we use structured play-based learning and intentional teaching opportunities to introduce children to these early maths concepts. This learning enables children to develop an understanding of the notion of time and measurement, cause and effect, identification of number patterns, and the recognition of regular and irregular shapes.
Happy Holidays
It has been another fast-paced, stimulating and fun-filled term for the students of Redlands House. The staff highly value and greatly appreciate your ongoing support and contributions to our Preschool program. I encourage you to continue to provide us with your feedback regarding day-to-day preschool life, events or activities. It is this feedback that contributes to our Quality Improvement Plan and helps us to navigate through change when necessary. Please email Mrs Huon or please feel free to come in for a chat at any time. The Redlands House staff wish all of you a relaxing and happy holiday break and we look forward to seeing you next term, for our final term of the year.
