Welcome back to Term 4!
It has been an exciting and busy start to the term with Yr 10 stepping up into Front Gate Duty, embracing Term 4 Phase 1: Engagement and Examinations and engaging in Coaching Conversations with their Tutors while developing a specific examination goal and an Examination Study Plan. As a summary from Mrs Van de Peer’s communication with all students, parents and carers, this term Yr 10 will experience three phases:
Phase 1 Examination and Engagement
Phase 2: Processing Examination Feedback and Readying for Camp
Phase 3: Preparing for Yr 11 and Senior Study
Students were provided resources to create an Examination Study Plan during Tutor this week, ensuring to plan approximately 2 hours of revision per evening, including rest breaks and specific tasks for completion. For further support, students should access the Yr 10 iLearn Pastoral Page and navigate to Phase 1: Examination and Engagment page linked this week in the Term 4 Weekly Plans.

CIS Athletics Carnival
Well done to all students who competed in the CIS Athletics Carnival at Sydney Olympic Park. We had many pleasing Top 4 results on the day. For Yr 10:
- Isaac Brooks – 2nd place in the 16 Years 800m, 9th place in the 16 years 1500m
- Henry Charles – 3rd place in the 16 Years Javelin
A BIG congratulations to Isaac for qualifying for the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships in the 800m. He has been working incredibly hard over the last two years to break the 2-minute barrier. To run 1:58.52 in the final at the NSW All Schools is a testament to his consistency at training, focus and hard work. Well done, Isaac!
