Student Achievements

Warm congratulations go to Jacob Harrap who received a Spirit Award this week. A recipient of a Spirit Award is a student who embodies and exemplifies the spirit of their activity, acting by example with consistent enthusiasm and commitment. Jacob received the Spirit award for Dance. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Yr 7 students, Isabella McLachlan and Alyssa Tinetti, who are training this week with Australian Ballet Interstate/ Interstate program in Melbourne.

Enrolment for 2019

Please note that enrolments for our 2019 classes will be done online this year. All parents (new and existing) will receive an email to fill out their preferences for 2019. We will need all responses by 26 October. The Terms and Conditions, and our 2019 timetables are now on Redlands Pulse for Prep/Junior and Senior classes to help you enrol.

End of Year Ballet and Dance Concert

Calling all volunteers!

Would you like to help with costuming, hair and make up during the performances at The Concourse on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 November? Please see Redlands Pulse for further details or come via the Ballet Office to learn more. You do need to have your Working with Children Certificate in place by the end of this term so please don’t delay! 

We also need your skills (gluing/cutting/sewing) in preparation for the performances. Come and have some fun at our Sewing Bees. No need to have a WWCC as these sessions take place at school:

Friends of Ballet AGM 

It is time to say farewell to some of our FoB leaders who have helped and supported us for two years. If you would like to join the FoB, please come along to the Annual General Meeting when we will vote and establish our 2019 Committee. The details for the meeting are 16 October from 5.30-7.00pm in the Junior School Library.

Ballet and Dance Awards Dinner

Tickets will come on sale for our inaugural Redlands Ballet and Dance Awards Dinner soon! Don’t miss out as places are limited for this annual event at Manly Golf Club on the Tuesday 27 November at 6.30pm. Students and parents between Yrs 7-12 will be invited to attend.

Lost Property

The lost property box is heaving. Please check your children’s uniform and come a collect any missing items before the end of term. All items will be disposed of prior to Term 4.
