Year 7

R U OK?Day is Thursday 8 September 

It’s our national day of action when we remind Australians that every day is the day to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversation whenever they spot the signs that someone they care about might be struggling with life.

On Friday during Tutor Time, our Yr 7 students will engage with a range of discussion activities to ask each other how they are going and whether they are ok.

Yr 7 supporting our Yr 6 students with a Chat and Connect Session. 

A group of Yr 7 students, together with students from Yr 11, will attend the Junior School on Friday morning to engage in a Chat & Connect Session with Redlands Yr 6 students. This will be an opportunity for Yr 7 to connect and support our future Yr 7 students by answering their questions and allaying any concerns. 

ISA Athletics Carnival

The ISA Athletics Carnival is taking place next Tuesday at Sydney Olympic Park. Students who have been selected for the ISA Athletics Team, will need to meet at the Fahl Garden at 7am. The team will depart Sydney Olympic Park at 5:30pm and should arrive back to the Redlands Senior Campus at 6pm. There will be a team meeting and training session this coming Friday afternoon at Balmoral Oval with a bus dropping the team to the oval at 3:30 returning students to school by 5:15pm. If there is rain on Friday, the team meeting/training will be moved to the Junior School. Best of luck to all students competing at the ISA Athletics Carnival.

Uniform Reminder

Yr 7 are encouraged to wear their full school winter uniform with pride for the remainder of Term 3. Students are to wear their blazer to and from school, to chapel and assemblies. Yr 7 are also regularly reminded to polish their shoes. Necklaces, rings and dangly earrings are not permitted but students are allowed to wear a pair of simple studs in their lobes. If for any reason you child is unable to wear the correct uniform  please email the Year Adviser to discuss. Two uniform infringements in a term will result in a one hour Friday afternoon detention. Thank you parents for your assistance to support your child in wearing the correct uniform.
