Spring Fair

Just two more weeks til the Redlands Spring Fair on Sat 3 Sept with tons of food, fun and entertainment, showcasing the community’s diversity and depth of students’ art-related activities.

It’s open to the entire community – so bring your friends! Entry is free! Coupons are required to pay for individual rides, games and food. Wristbands give your kids access to unlimited rides – no coupons required. But you will still need coupons to play games and purchase food. Pre-purchase wristbands and coupons here to receive a special discount. Orders before 26 Aug can be delivered directly to your child’s classroom.

Last week, we revealed an extensive number of exciting rides, both old and new. This week, let’s talk about food. The Food Precinct will feature Asian and Latin American stalls, with delicious offerings including sushi, dumplings, spring rolls, nachos, empanadas and more, as well as a traditional BBQ with Bacon and Egg rolls and a Sausage Sizzle. The Alumni Cafe will serve barista made coffee and handmade cupcakes by members of the community. There will also be Gelato, Popcorn, Fairy Floss, Snow Cone and Lolly Stalls.

And if that’s not enough, we have some special guests especially for our littlest fair goers. Our KindiFarm will feature baby goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbit and guinea pigs. And on our entertainment stage… drumroll please… Jamie from Jam on Toast! Look out for further performances to be announced in next week’s Note Day!

Finally, some great news – we are extending the deadline for the colouring competition for all students on the Junior Campus. Have your children go crazy with their colouring in or designing their own bunting over the weekend and return the entries to their teachers on Mon 22 Aug for a chance to win a Squishmallow or giant Teddy Bear! All submissions will be combined into decorations to be displayed at the Spring Fair, with winners announced prior to the event.

Sign-ups are open for Prep and Junior parent volunteers to collect coupons and supervise rides and games. Please volunteer if you can, to help us make this event a success. More sign-ups will be available in the coming days. Contact stall coordinators, your class or year parents or us for more information!
