Sydney Eisteddfod
The Academy is thrilled by the wonderful wins at the Sydney Eisteddfod last weekend. Our dancers clearly presented Redlands unique style, standard of training and love of dance. Congratulations to all of you.

The location for Sunday’s Sydney Eisteddfod was at the Sydney Opera House and our Junior Ballet Performers were priviledged to dance at the newly refurnished Concert Hall. What a wonderful experience for our Juniors.
The Senior Ballet Performers are also to be congratulated, nothing compared to your elegance and charm.
Sewing Bee Evening
Monday 15 August | 6:30pm – 8:30pm | Senior Campus – Textile Department
The Academy is tasked with making tutu skirts for all our ballet students in Kindy to Year 6 for our End of Year Performance.
We have 5 spots left for our Sewing Bee event. A big thank you to all, including grandparents, who have already signed up.
The evening will be led by Costume Designer Kassandra Giotopoulis Moore who has very kindly offered to create a simple prototype tutu and will be at school to show us how to do it.
We need all the help we can get , so if you have any experience at all or would like to learn, please join us – register now.
Second Hand Uniform Donations
Friends of Ballet and Dance are busy organising the Second Hand Uniforms cupboard so if you have any shoes, leotards or skirts that need a new home you are welcome to donate them to us.
Please drop items into the “donations boxes” located outside the Ballet Studio (P1.6) in Parkes Hall.
Can’t Come to Class
Please let us know if your child is sick, injured or unable to attend class by completing THIS FORM
