Student Achievement

Well done to Lucinda Baird who received a certificate of Distinction as part of her participation in the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking Competition and to Jack Forrest, Sahara Ali, Antonio Sergorbe, Charlotte Davis, Joe Irvine and Finn Woodward for receiving a Credit as part of their involvement in the Algorithmic Thinking Competition. These students will be presented with their certificates at next week’s Year Assembly.

Week 2 Year Assembly

Well done to the following students who spoke at the Week 2 Year Assembly last week:

Yr 11 was also treated to a special acoustic performance of Back to Black featuring vocalists Sabrina Blasco, Claudia Lalich and Maya little. The trio performed this powerful song at the recent Gala Arts competition. A big thank you to Ms Ari Brodie and Mr Joseph Montz for their assistance with the setup for the performance. 

Yr 6 into Yr 7 Transition Day

Lachlan Binnekamp and Sarah Kumpulainen also did a tremendous job speaking to Yr 6 students and parents as part of a Yr 7 and 11 panel who responded to specific questions given by the Yr 6 students. Well done! 

There will be more opportunities for student leadership at the upcoming North Shore Schools Expo, Spring Fair and House Spirit Fair.

Yr 12 Leadership Process

This week, voting began across the school for our 2023 Senior Leadership team. Leadership voting will be open until Tuesday the 10th of August. Well done to all the Yr 11 students who took the time and effort to put together their applications for the leadership positions.
