Legacy Gift – Yr 7 Movie Night

Report by Billy Thomas (Yr 12)
On Friday 27 May, the Yr 7 movie night was held on the second floor of the Learning Hub at 6pm. Seven Yr 12 students worked hard to put the event on; organising the food and drink and arranging the room for the movie. The movie was Johnny English Strikes Again, which was a hit with the Yr 7 students. Mrs Dana Casimaty also helped immensely in organising and putting on the event, and we are very thankful for the pizzas and juices that she managed to obtain for the night. Despite a bit of mess, the night was a great success, with a netted $905 that will go towards the Class of 2022 Legacy Gift. We thank all the Yr 7 students who attended and contributed towards this cause, as well as all the Yr 12 students: Katie Wightwick, Katina Casimaty, Ema Yasumura, Tamis Hunter, Joel Keith and Hugh Sellar, that lent a hand in preparations and tidying up afterwards.
