Congratulations to Hugo McKay who was selected to represent CIS at the NSW Football Championships.
ISA XC Results
Well done to the Year 11 students listed below who raced at last Wednesday’s ISA XC Championships at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. The course was tough due to the extremely slippery and muddy conditions. A BIG congratulations to our Senior Girls team who won the Overall Senior Girls Shield and to all the Year 11 boys who contributed points towards the Boys team placing 3rd Overall which is a big achievement. All of the Year 11 runners are to be congratulated for working as a team at the carnival, and for their camaraderie on the day. Special mention to Emilie Bessell and Bronte Backhouse who have both qualified for the CIS XC Championships coming up next Wednesday at Eastern Creek Raceway.

Careers Expo
Today, Year 11 had the opportunity to visit the Sydney Morning Herald Careers Expo. The Careers Expo provided resources and information for tertiary courses, career and employment options, the HSC, study strategies, the gap year, and International College and University opportunities. A full write-up will be in next week’s Note Day.
ACER Social and Emotional Wellbeing Survey
This week, Year 11 completed the ACER Social and Emotional survey which is a strengths-based survey based on an ecological conception of social and emotional wellbeing organised into three domains: feelings and behaviour, both positive and negative. internal strengths, including social, emotional and learning skills, and values.
Secondary School Photos – Monday 6 June and Wednesday 8 June
All students are required to be well-presented in full school uniform, including blazers. Students are reminded to bring their Redlands student ID cards to each photo for efficient scanning and identification.

Catch-up Student Portraits

Students who missed a portrait photo during a previous photo day can attend from 10.30-11.05am at the Level 2 presentation space in the Redlands Learning Hub.
Homelessness Awareness and Donation Collection for Wayside Chapel
In these last few weeks of term, a dedicated crew of Yr 10 students have been planning a service initiative for a monetary and goods collection for The Wayside Chapel. The Wayside Chapel is a charity and parish mission of the Uniting Church in Australia in the Potts Point area of Sydney.
How Can You Help?
- Donate an item for collection by dropping it at the front or back entrance to school starting Monday 6 June to Friday 17 June between 8:00am and 8:15am.
- Purchase a delicious baked good at the Bake Sale Friday 10 June @ Lunch
- If enough goods are collected, the students will have a Mufti-Day Friday 24 June with a final donation item or a gold coin donation.
- Donation Items: Canned food/non-perishable food, water bottles, chapstick, band aids – pack of 10, gloves, socks, sunscreen, tissues, toothbrush + toothpaste + mouthwash, wet-wipes, menstrual products, nail-clippers, comb/brush or flashlight
