It is with a heavy heart that I depart the Yr 8 cohort from May 16 and move into a new role inside of Redlands. It has been an absolute pleasure leading this wonderful group of students through their transition into Secondary School. I know that they are going to develop into fine young adults and they will continue to be assisted by our fantastic tutors and the incoming year advisors. I will still have plenty of opportunities to engage with and be part of the Yr 8 cohort as they move through the Secondary School in my new role as the Head of Winter School and Outdoor Education.

Dr Tessa Opie Parent Seminar and Student Workshops

Further information regarding Dr. Tessa Opie and her seminar for parents and workshops for students came out in a letter to parents today from the Deputy Principal, Mr. Sean Corcoran. Please refer to this letter for further information.

Cross Country Carnival 

Unfortunately due to weather the Term 1 Cross Country Carnival was postponed, therefore the 2022 Redlands Cross Country Carnival will be held across 3 sections for Seniors (Yr 11 & 12), Intermediates (Yr 9 & 10) and Juniors (Yr 7 & 8). 

The carnival will be for competitive runners, with registrations due by Wednesday 4th May (Term 2, Week 2).   

Students must compete to be considered for the ISA Championships. 

The carnival will run on the following dates & times:

Juniors (Yr 7 & 8) 
3:30pm – 5:00pm – (must pre-register), bus will transport students to and from school. 

This will still be an official carnival counting towards House Aggregate Points and age champions this will be a time bases award.

The Cross Country Carnival will take place at Balmoral Oval.
