Year 10

Secondary School Technology and Mobile Phone Usage Policy 2018

In Yrs 7-10, mobile phones and BYOD devices are not be used around school grounds during recess and lunch. It is recommended mobile phones are left in locked lockers for the school day. While smart phones are often important communication devices for families and can effectively be used for learning purposes at school, they can also have detrimental impacts on student interactions and overall wellbeing.

Mobile phones are not to be used in class unless directed by their teacher for learning purposes. Consequences for misuse of mobile phone/technology/device might include confiscation of  the mobile phone for the day (picked up at Secondary School Office at end of the day) or a detention.

Sport

Congratulations to our Yr 10 students who played for their respective teams in the ISA Finals on the weekend. There were plenty of great results and they can be found in the Secondary Sports section. 

Vaccination Catch Up

Yr 10 catch up vaccination will be in Week 8 Wednesday 11 September. If you are needing another permission slip, students can collect one from Mr Atkins or Ms Privett.

Tombola Jars

Yr 10 students are running a Jam Jar Tombola stall this year at the Redlands Spring Fair. Students are encouraged to collect jars and fill them with lollies, toys, craft items, vouchers etc. Once the jars are full students can bring them into school and give them to their Tutor.

Yr 10 Camp

Camp is in Term 4 Week 5 from 12-16 November. We ask that you please update all medical information on the Redlands portal. Permission slips will be sent home once this is completed.

10.1 and 10.3 – Friday 31 August from 8.00am-3.20pm

Yr 10 Music Excursion

Thursday 6 September from 5.45-9.30pm
