Year 12
Yr 12 Information Evening
Wednesday 16 February at 5.30pm
Please join us for a webinar that will include key information for students and parents about Yr 12 study.
Wellbeing Program
As part of our Wellbeing program, our theme for Yr 12 is ‘Making a difference’, where students are encouraged to look to their future after school and consider ways in which they can help others and make a difference in the world. Towards the end of last year, a number of students worked together to raise money for the organisation M’Lop Tapang in Cambodia, supporting local students and their community. Part of that initiative involved donating over $1000 to shave Mr Millham’s beard off, which was something I did in the final week of school in front of the year group – very entertaining for all! Some members of the Year Group have also been communicating with leaders of M’Lop Tapang, and a video was put together by students in Cambodia for Redlands, that can be seen here.
Geography Field Trip
Yr 12 IB Geography students visited Jindabyne last weekend, staying at the High Country Campus, collecting data on the Thredbo River as part of their internal assessments. Students braved the changing weather conditions and cold water, having a successful and enjoyable trip.
