‘School’s out for Summer!’
‘We’re all going on a Summer Holiday’

‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year’

‘Summertime’
‘Sumer is icumen in’
Vivaldi’s ‘Summer’

Whatever your music playlist has queued, there’s no doubt that music and summer make a wonderful pair!

As we wrap up the year, we have a few events and performances still to come! From our students who will perform in the Christmas Celebration Services, Final Assembly, and of course Speech Day, there are still a few more joyous musical moments we can squeeze out of this year yet! We are so proud of the drive our students have found in their music-making this year, and they have certainly placed a stake in the ground for the one to come – when hopefully more freedoms will be afforded to Music classrooms across NSW.

Head of Junior Campus Music appointment

This past semester, Ms Katherine Moses has been at the helm of the Junior Campus Music Department, leading the team, program and students through untold challenges with her characteristic warmth and strength. She is an extraordinary Musician and Teacher, and we are thrilled that Katherine has accepted the permanent position as our Head of Junior Campus Music moving forward.

Thank You

I would like to take this chance to thank the dedicated Music Team who work with our students from Redlands House through to Yr 12. From our Specialist Tutors and Classroom Teacher to our Administrators, this team are student-focused and passionate about the Music journey of our Redlands students.

And to all our Friends, parents and students who make life in the Music Department a joy – thank YOU!
