Annual General Meeting

Thank you to everyone who attended last week’s Annual General Meeting. Mr Webber presented the Principal’s Report and spoke briefly about the five key drivers of the latest Strategic Plan. The 2021 Executive Committee then presented the structure and functions of the RPFA, activities and achievements over the past year, and the financial report. You can view the presentation here.

Following this was the election of the 2022 Committee. We would like to thank those committee members who have stepped down this year for their contributions, and in particular, Michelle Tea for her tireless leadership over the last three years. We welcomed six new committee members, and will now have representatives from all years from Redlands House to Year 12, including parent contact group coordinators from two divisions. The new RPFA committee will reconvene on Monday 15 November.

Term 4 Second Hand Uniform Sale

Due to the short term, the RPFA is running a quick sale of current stock of summer uniforms. The online sale will close tomorrow 5 Nov at 5pm.

Senior Campus collection:

Students to collect from Student Services Centre (Secondary School Reception) in the John Roberts building on the following days:

Year 7 – Monday 15 November
Year 8 – Tuesday 16 November
Year 9 – Wednesday 17 November
Year 10 – Thursday 18 November
Year 11 – Friday 19 November

Junior Campus collection:

Uniforms will be delivered to your child’s classroom.

Donations:

Quality donations kindly accepted at the Uniform Shop during the week commencing 15 November.

Please ensure any donated uniforms are washed, free of stains and rips, and on a hanger (or use the ones available at the Uniform Shop). Please note that we cannot accept donations of the old sports uniform.

As always, funds raised go towards the means-tested Redlands Foundation Scholarship Fund – this year in honour of Belinda Oxley.

If we receive enough donations of blazers we will run a second sale of just blazers prior to Speech Day.

Book Club

The next meeting of the Redlands parents book club will be our last for the year and will also be our annual Christmas lunch. We will be discussing The Midnight Library by Matt Haig on Wed 24 Nov.
