Year 11
Leadership Training
All of our Year Group spent a half day leadership training last week with ‘Burn Bright’, focusing on building authentic Yr 12 leaders who use their own values, beliefs and behaviours to model good leadership to the rest of the School.
Student Attendance
If a student is absent from school an explanation must be provided by a parent/carer to ssabsence@redlands.nsw.edu.au. If your child is absent due to illness, we thank you for providing details of your child’s symptoms. Any student absent with COVID-19 related symptoms must complete a PCR COVID-19 test, and evidence of a negative test result must be provided to the School prior to the student returning to campus.
Perspectives: Your School in Focus
This term Redlands is once again participating in the Perspectives: Your School in Focus suite of surveys, administered by AIS NSW. All staff, students in Years 5-11, and parents are invited to complete a confidential and anonymous survey which focuses on five important domains: School Environment, Teaching and Learning, Student Wellbeing, Leadership and Community. Gathering information about these areas will be of significant benefit to us as a community to help identify our school’s strengths, as well as opportunities for future improvement.
The online survey will take approximately 20 minutes and can be completed on any device. It will be available until Friday 5 November for students and Sunday 7 November for parents and carers. Details about how parents can access the survey have been shared via email. Students will be completing the survey during Tutor Time.
Thank you, in advance, for your participation in this survey. Community input is important to the success of our continued school improvement and will help to inform the School’s plans for 2022 and beyond.
Have a great week!
