Year 11

Welcome Back!

On Monday we welcomed back the whole school to On-Campus Learning, and it was wonderful to see all of Yr 11 so excited to return. We began the week with a Year Assembly that wasn’t a virtual one for the first time in over four months, and what better way than to celebrate our new leaders and also hand out the Yr 12 jerseys.

Leadership Training

This week has also seen the whole Year Group receive leadership training delivered by the organisation Burn Bright. Our 2022 Office Bearers and House Captains spent a whole day building a foundation of a common vision and values to underpin the year ahead. They unpacked specific skills such as effective communication, school-life balance, project planning, running meetings, uniting and managing their Year Group and being a link between the students and the School. Our 2022 Captains of Activities and all Yr 12 Prefects spent a half day building on the Office Bearers’ work, focusing on building authentic Yr 12 leaders who use their own values, beliefs and behaviours to model good leadership to the rest of the School.
