Honouring Belinda Oxley

This year, our Scholarship Appeal honours the legacy of long-standing and respected educator Belinda Oxley.  Belinda joined our staff in 1995 as a Yr 2 teacher and fulfilled many important roles at the School over 23 years, including Dean of Early Childhood, up until her passing in 2018.

With her excellent knowledge of visual literacy and the visual arts, Belinda was admired by colleagues for her passion, enthusiasm and collegiality. She was well known for guiding many aspiring teachers in the practical component of their studies.

Our ambitious appeal target of $400,000 will ensure this scholarship can be awarded in perpetuity, supporting each recipient for the duration of their educational journey at Redlands, starting from Yr 7.  We are grateful for the support we have received so far from our Community which enabled us to achieve 40% of this target.

In the recent weeks the second Peter Lennox means-tested Scholarship was awarded to a well deserving all rounded student who will commence Yr 7 in 2022. Official announcement will be made in Term 3.

Yr 12 Legacy Gift Movie Night for Yr 7

Friday 4 June, Redlands Learning Hub, Room 2.7 and 2.8 

Please note change of venue from Redlands Hall.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our Yr 7 to get together in the social setting. Yr 12 students arranged a screening of the movie Ratatouille, a 2007 USA comedy, computer-animated film produced by Pixar and releases by Walt Disney Pictures.  Tickets are $15 per student including popcorn, pizza and filtered water. Students are encouraged to bring their own drink bottles for refilling. This event will be supervised by Yr 12 students and Redlands staff. Please book your ticket HERE.
