Year 11

Yr 11 Curriculum Camp 

During Pastoral Care earlier this week, the cohort attended the first Yr 11 Camp briefing with guest speakers from Outdoor Education Group (OEG). This year, Yr 11 Curriculum Camp will take place from Monday 15 to Friday 19 October at Redlands High Country Campus, Jindabyne and the nearby Kosciuszko National Park.

Facilitated by OEG, this program tests not only the field skills developed over their five year Outdoor Education journey but also promotes a high degree of independence and leadership. Students should take the time to prepare well for what will be the most challenging and rewarding Outdoor Education program yet! Students have had the opportunity to choose an appropriate challenge and program level. The selection includes choices such as a day walk, full five day expedition or for something different, a horse riding, skiing or even a Duke of Edinburgh styled journey with cycling, paddling and bushwalking.

Parents are advised to update their child’s medical information and correct contact details at their earliest convenience. This will ensure a smooth preparation process.

Yr 11 HSC and IB Yearly Examination

Please note that Yearly Examinations will be held at Norths Club from Monday 27 August to Friday 7 September. Students can access iLearn for study handbooks, tips and hints as required. Students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with their routes to the venue prior to the exam block, either by public transportation or self driving. In addition, the exam timetable will be available in due course.

Student Leadership 2019

The voting for the positions of Activities Captains, Prefect, School, Sports and Arts Captain 2019 has opened to every Year Group and is open until Friday 3 August. Thank you to all students who self-nominated for leadership positions. We appreciate their efforts and time given to applications as well as their willingness to participate in the process.
