Foundation
A very warm welcome to Term 2! I hope all our families had a relaxing Easter break and managed to enjoy this beautiful sunny autumn weather.
I enjoyed a few days away with the family in Port Stephens which we like for its fabulous coastline, excellent kayaking and fishing conditions. I have also taken up a running challenge in the preparation for the upcoming Mother’s Day Classic. It has always been a very popular event in our service and community calendar.
If you wish to be part of the Redlands Mother’s Day Classic team, please register yourself / your family here.
Belinda Oxley Scholarship
This year, our Scholarship Appeal honours the legacy of long-standing and respected educator Belinda Oxley, who first joined our staff in 1995 as a Yr 2 teacher and fulfilled many important roles at the School over 23 years, including Dean of Early Childhood, up until her sad passing in 2018.
Thank you to all the families and staff who shared their stories and photos. She was truly a much loved, respected and dedicated member of our community.
To read more about this scholarship and how to support it, please visit our website here.
The Redlands Arts Luncheon, to celebrate our long history of Creative Arts and raise funds towards this honourable cause, is sold out and we are taking any additional bookings on a waiting list.
The online auction with some incredible prizes such as holiday houses, degustation vouchers, wellbeing experiences and many more to support the Belinda Oxley Scholarship, will be launched on 13 May and accessible to all members of our community. If you have a prize to donate, please email us on foundation@redlands.nsw.edu.au or contact me directly.
