Watching Day

As Term 1 draws to a close, we wanted to open our classes to parents of Redlands House, Prep and Junior students. Invitations to Watching Day, which will be held on Tuesday 30 March, will be sent shortly. Please note that places are limited to one parent per student.

Finalist in 2021 RAD Isobel Anderson Awards

We are delighted to announce Yr 7 student Dante Minassian placed third in the finals of the IA Awards on Sunday, achieving the Bloch Award. Over 100 students competed in Dante’s Intermediate Foundation grade and to come third was an amazing achievement. Congratulations Dante.

Easter Holiday Workshop Guest Teacher

We are proud to announce Ben Zammit will be the Guest Contemporary and Lyrical teacher for the Easter Holiday Workshop.

Born and raised in Sydney, Ben started dancing at the age of 7. He completed full-time training at Ev and Bow under the guidance of Sarah Boulter, Lisa Bowmer and Adam Blanch. Straight after, having won the Senior Grand National Champion title at DanceLife Unite’s 2014 Nationals and accompanying scholarship prize, he travelled to New York City and trained at Broadway Dance Centre for three months. During this time, Ben assisted multiple choreographers overseas as well as in Australia, including the recent television series Dance Boss.

Since being back in Australia, Ben has worked for artists including Guy Sebastian and companies including Yamaha, Sydney Trains and Water Aid. Most recently, he has performed in companies including the Dream Dance Company’s 2017 season of Enter the Vortex, directed by Marko Panzic and choreographed by Sarah Boulter, Shaun Parker Company Trolleys and Una Palabra and Stephen Tannos’ We.Are.Dance.Project in Found. Ben is currently performing in the Opera Australia production of La Traviata. A major highlight in Ben’s career has been a performer in Hugh Jackman’s World Tour – The Man, The Music, The Show (AUS, NZ and US). Ben continues to work within the industry and is passionate about sharing his knowledge as a teacher and mentor for the upcoming generation of dancers.
