Growing Up So Fast!
Our Transition Gold class has had an impressive week sharing their learning inside and outside of the classroom. Every time I enter the TG room I am greeted with smiles, stories and young voices in the throws of discussing and exploring. This week I reflected on just how grown up these students have become in such a short period of time. They say goodbye to their parents at the Reception door, have temperatures taken and walk through to put bags away and get themselves ready for the day. They are so ready for Kindergarten. The information board this week is all about TG and the wonderings they have explored around fairy tales. From stick figure nurturing to a look, see, wonder about maths, there is always quality learning experiences happening in TG.

Car Parking Around the Junior Campus
I would like to thank all those parents who have helped make car line run smoothly this term. Your smiles and waves are so appreciated every morning.
Can I please ask that Kindergarten parents do not start arriving at car line in the afternoons until 2.30pm. We do have parents arriving too early and this is causing issues with our Redlands House parents who pick their children up earlier. Please know that we will never close the gate if a student is not picked up in time. Our staff will always be safely waiting with your child until you arrive.
Parents are asked to avoid double parking in Murdoch and Allister Streets while waiting to pick up their children. It has come to the School’s attention that some parents are stopping in the middle of the street to enter the car line in Allister Street. This is creating a traffic flow issue as well as creating an unsafe situation for cars trying to move up and down Allister Street. If you are turning right into Allister Street from Rangers Road and cannot join the car line, unfortunately you will need to go around the block and join the back of the line.
If you park in Murdoch Street, we ask you to check whether you are in a no stopping zone.
As always, the safety of our students is paramount as is the respect for the residents in the streets surrounding our school.
Thank you for your assistance with this again.
