Year 9

Interesting Article of the Week

Please read

Teenagers aged 13, 14 and 15 often want to be treated like adults but have not necessarily developed the required level of responsibility for this to happen. So, this week I have been thinking about how a teen can develop a sense of responsibility and the accountability to go with it. The article addresses this topic and is something that both as parents and teachers we are trying to help young people of this age develop this year and beyond. As Year Advisors, Tony Dong and I are attempting to encourage students to take more responsibility regarding their schooling and to not expect their parents to deal with issues that they can manage themselves.
