Key Information for departure and arrival times:
Meeting Times
We are travelling to Cairns in two groups with slightly different departure and arrival times, as communicated in the Parent Briefing. Students will be informed which group they are in this week, so please take note of the times below.
Sunday 23 October
All students are departing from Redlands. Parents may use the Staff Car Park, entry off Gerard St, for dropping off students if required. This is for a two minute drop off only – please stay with your car.
Students will then meet in the Gym Undercroft.
Group A: Arrive at school by 4.30am
Group B: Arrive at school by 5.30am
Friday 28 October
All students will need to be collected from Sydney Domestic Airport, Terminal 2, as there will be no transportation back to School.
Group A: Arrive at SYD T2 10.10pm
Group B: Arrive at SYD T2 7.35pm.
NB. Students have been informed this week which group they are in both for camp and travel.
Competitive Debating Trials for 2023 – Deadline Approaching
Well done to the 80 students who have already signed up to trial for competitive Debating in 2023! They have appreciated the opportunity to have coaching and a flexible approach to trial dates.
Just a reminder, that all students in Years 7-11 who wish to be considered for competitive Debating at any time in 2023 need to trial this term. Trials at the start of next term will be for new students only.
The Cut off for Signing up is Wednesday 26 October
Students should let the Debating staff know, with as much notice as possible, if they are not able to attend a trial date for which they have signed up.
