Year 12

Pastoral Care

This week, Tutors continue to meet with students for individual Pastoral check-ins. These include discussions related to their wellbeing, coping strategies, and broadening of their personal support networks.

Achievement

Our rowers performed exceptionally well over the weekend and the heavy downpours did little to dampen their spirits. Jared Bowden, teamed with Alexander Verschoor (Yr 10), Matthew White (Yr 11) and Tom Morris (Yr 11), secured second place in the 2nd Coxed Quad Scull. Zoe Kimber and Alec Price also achieved pleasing results in their respective races. The secret behind their elegant, unison movements is training six times a week, most of which occurs early morning. Their dedication to the sport, strong teamwork, team spirit and personal organisational skills are impressive and exemplary. Well done!

Musical Strictly Ballroom

Our School Musical has always been a fun event with a large cast and loads of great upbeat song and dance numbers. This year is no exception. Twenty Yr 12s are involved in this production with different roles as cast members, production and props crew or the make-up team. On top of their busy school work schedule, these students have rehearsed every Monday afternoon, Tuesday lunch, Friday afternoon and all day Sunday since the beginning of this year to prepare for the show next week! Tickets are selling fast and we hope you will all come along and enjoy the classic romantic comedy Strictly Ballroom.

Student Parking

Students are reminded to park according to the road rules. If there are painted lines on the road, you are not allowed to park over the top of them. If you do, you are in danger of receiving a parking ticket. Please also be mindful that you do not leave an unreasonable amount of space in front of or behind your vehicle when you park. We ask all students to be respectful of our local neighbours to not encroach over driveways.
