Pastoral Care

Tutors have been meeting with students for individual Pastoral check-ins. These include discussions related to their wellbeing, coping strategies, and broadening of their personal support networks.

International Women’s Day Celebration

Last Friday, the Yr 12s attended the whole school assembly to celebrate this important event. I hope, by listening to our guest speaker, our students gained a better understanding of the theme of International Women’s Day this year Balance for Better with a focus on empowering women in developing nations through literacy education.

Matilda Rose Williams, Aleksandra Deegan, Chloe Woodward and Mackenzie Lofts attended a breakfast celebration at the Mosman Art Gallery, which was organised by the Mosman Council. They were inspired by the special guest Professor the Honourable Dame Marie Bashir AD CVO, the former and first female Governor of NSW, who spoke about her remarkable achievements and her journey through life.

Legacy Gift

Earlier this week, Dr Lennox came to the Year Meeting and spoke about the Legacy Gift. This traditionally involves the Year Group fundraising throughout the year to give future students of Redlands a gift that will remain for generations to come. The task involves communication with our Foundation Office, Executives and Year Group to agree on a feasible plan. I am confident that our boys and girls will work collectively to achieve their goal.

Winter Sport Season Start

As the sun sets on the summer season, another winter season begins this week. It is great to see our boys and girls continually demonstrating their leadership and friendship on the sports fields, encouraging each other to do their best and respecting each other by putting in 110% at every training. I wish them a successful season.    

IB Half Yearly Examinations and HSC Half Yearly Assessment Term 2

Both HSC and IB students will sit their exams/assessments at Norths from Tuesday 30 April to Friday 10 May. These timetables have been emailed to students and posted on iLearn and Redlands Pulse.
