Year 12

It is hard to believe that this is perhaps my last Note Day article as Yr 12 Advisor. Whilst I will have the opportunity to speak with you at Valedictory Dinner on 1 February 2022, I want to thank you for your support of me in the role of Year Advisor. I have always appreciated the support and connection with you as we have guided your child through Secondary School.

Each day, I have left home with a spring in my step knowing that I would see the students of this Year Group. Just this morning, I waded through the thousands of photographs and videos of the cohort to put together a collage of memories for our Year Assembly on Friday. This was an incredibly emotional experience for me as I recalled the many events and moments with these students from Year 7 to now.

The 2021 cohort will go on to achieve great things. Encourage them to remain connected with each other as they move onto university because, as we know, friendships forged in childhood can be so important and foundational in our lives. Please stay in touch with me and the school as we are keen to learn of their next steps and future paths.

 Upcoming Dates

• Final student led Assembly Friday 8 October 2:45pm.
• Final day of Year 12 classes Wednesday 13 October.
• Yr 12 Farewell Assembly Thursday 14 October.
• Until 25 October, students will continue to have access to their teachers and the campus in small study bubble groups. 
• After 25 October, whole cohort access is possible and throughout the weeks preceding the final IB and HSC examinations.
• Further details about the modified timetable and a schedule for study bubble sign-ups (with friends or in subject classes) will be made available in Week 1 of the September/October holidays.
