Year 12

Pastoral Care

As we build on the independence theme from last week, students have been asked to be mindful of the 35,000 choices they make each day and take increased responsibility for them. The next two holiday periods provide independent opportunities for students to take charge of their learning and consolidate their understanding. There has been a noticeable shift since Tutors and Yr 12 students celebrated ‘Independence Day’ last Wednesday and we hope this continues as students realise they have a choice regarding every aspect of their lives and have the opportunity to learn from their outcomes.

Fundraising Concert

Erin Pacholke has organised a one hour fundraising concert this Friday evening in the Music Centre from 6-7pm. It will feature a number of Yr 12 musicians with all proceeds going to Headspace. Parents and students are warmly invited to attend.

Library Open Hours

Following the positive feedback regarding extended Library hours, we will trial opening the Roseby Library on the last week of the Winter holidays. Students are encouraged to make use of the collaborative or independent learning spaces and resources available to them on Campus during this time.

Safe Driving

NSW Police and the PCYC have created a safe driver course which is designed for individual students to attend in their own personal time.  Students are encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity and the benefits the course can provide.
