Camp
A reminder that camp is in Week 1 next term. Students are to meet at the Junior Campus (Allister Street) at 6.00am. We need all students to be prompt so that buses can leave at the allotted time. If you have any difficulties with the arrival time, please email Ms Wilson or Mr Atkins so that we can address this accordingly.
CIS Athletics
Congratulations to all those students who participated in the carnival – Aoibheann MacLochlainn, Anna McCormack, Olivia Simpson and Alexandra York. Special mention to Alexandra York who placed 1st in the 16 years Long Jump (5.50m) and 3rd in the 200m (26.12) and 2nd in the High Jump (1.55m). Alexandra unfortunately tore her hamstring in the 100m, 10m into the race so she was unable to complete her High Jump event.
Yr 11 Parent Events
Melbourne Cup Luncheon – Tuesday, 5 November, 12 noon – 5pm
This year the tradition continues as we host the event that stops the nation at the Sergeant’s Mess in Chowder Bay overlooking stunning Sydney Harbour. Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of fun with French champagne and a cocktail on arrival, a gourmet three course luncheon with fine wines, raffles and sweeps, live entertainment and fashions on the field. This year we have a very special entertainment – a live band!
This is a great opportunity to spend an afternoon with your friends, this event is open to a wider community and attended by both mums and dads. There is a shuttle bus service organised to bring you back to the Buena Vista (Mosman Junction). Main formalities finish straight after 3pm so you can leave earlier if you need to collect your children.
Early Bird tickets are available now here until 1 October. It is easy to book; just select your Year Group or name guests you would like to be seated with. Tables of 10 are available and a limited number of tables of 12.

School Holidays
Ms Wilson and I wish all students a happy and refreshing holiday break. We have a big 12 months ahead of us and it is important students come back with the right frame of mind and the best possible approach to attack their final year of school.
