Year 10
Important Information Regarding Online Learning
Student work is currently being made available on all iLearn class pages for all Year Groups and all classes. This ensures that students who are at home for whatever reason, are able to keep on top of their academic studies. In addition, staff and students have been learning how to use Zoom this week, to enable them to have virtual classes tomorrow and if the need arises in the near future.
You will be aware that this Friday 20 March, all students will learn from home for a practice remote learning arrangement, with staff being onsite delivering lessons through Zoom and iLearn. Students have been trained in how to use these systems, during Tutor sessions this week. They are aware that they need to follow their timetabled sessions for the day, ensuring they join any Zoom sessions that are requested through iLearn, and complete any online work. Please have a conversation with your child surrounding this and ensure they ask their Teachers or Tutors if they have any questions or concerns.
Please note that there is also a dedicated COVID-19 page on Redlands Pulse for any necessary updates the school needs to communicate to parents. If you have any concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to email or ring me.
Interesting Article of the Week
This term’s Pastoral Care Program’s focus regarding developing resilience skills is particularly pertinent in light of the current situation. This week I have attached a factsheet from the Australian Psychological Society.
