Redlands Vocal Competition

Last Monday evening, the Redlands Vocal Competition was held in the Edwards Auditorium, featuring Yrs 7-12 finalists who presented a diverse range of vocal repertoire, which culminated in an outstanding evening of musical performances. The skills of students in all divisions were exceptional and this is a credit to the singing ability of each finalist and the guidance provided by their vocal tutors. Particular thanks to Mr Zi-Hao Li and Mr Damon Wade for their exceptional accompaniment of the finalists and Ms Brodie in supporting the students throughout rehearsals leading into the competition.

The Music Department would like to acknowledge the developing singing skills of all students who auditioned for the 2019 Vocal Competition and give special thanks to the finalists who all performed brilliantly at the event.

Well done to Maddison Hunt, Scarlett Keay and Kira Prado for their participation in the event. Congratulations to Maddison Hunt who was the Division 2 winner! 

CIS Track and Field Results

Jonah Koppers had another nail-biting race to finish in 1^st place in the 800m (2:05). Jonah snatched the win in the last 3m of the race! Well done Jonah!

Happy Holidays

Best wishes to all Yr 10 students and families for a safe and happy mid semester break. Students are encouraged to find time for family, study, exercise and friends over the two week period. Please ensure that summer uniforms are checked for length as students will have grown over the winter months. Your assistance with uniform and haircuts is greatly appreciated.
