Balmoral Swim Schools Relay Challenge
Last Sunday Redlands successfully competed in the 2021 Balmoral Swim for Cancer. I would like to thank all the students who participated in the swim, as we managed to put through four teams (including a Yr 6 team) who raced the school relay. In total, Redlands raised $3,095 which will be put towards raising money for supporting the Children’s Cancer Institute.
Thank you so much for everyone who donated, and to the RPFA and Year Group parents for making the event well known around the School. This made it possible for Redlands to raise as much money as we did. Redlands ended up winning the Charity Cup which is a great accomplishment especially as it is the first year we have participated in this event. Finally, I would like to thank Ms Riley for organising the event and for giving up her Sunday morning to lead Redlands to successfully participate in a great race for an important cause, and to win the Charity Cup. I hope for another successful year participating in the Balmoral Swim next year.
