Toys ‘n’ Tucker

As you turn your thinking towards preparing for Christmas, please give some consideration to adding to your christmas shopping list a contribution towards the Redlands Anglicare Toys ‘n’ Tucker drive. Anglicare aim to share the joy of Christmas with people in need. Throughout November, we will be seeking donations through Tutor Groups for a range of items on the shopping list below. Next time you are at the supermarket, consider picking up something extra to bring in for the collection. Nothing needs to be wrapped as all items will be sent to Angliacare who will then make up family specific boxes to be distributed. Your donations will mean that another family will have some of the Christmas cheer which we may take for granted.

Assistance Dogs Australia

Next week Yr 7 are hosting Assistance Dogs where we will be meeting an experienced service dog and seeing examples of the range skills the extensive training program develops. We will also meet some service dogs in training. They are very enthusiastic and are learning to be calm and disciplined.

Yr 7 are hoping to raise funds to make a financial contribution to the cost of raising and training an Assistance puppy. They have a range of fundraising activities planned and will be talking to all of the other Year Groups about how to get involved. If you would like to contribute you can make a donation here.
