Red Shield Appeal

Look out for door knockers this weekend from a range of schools in our area. Redlands students will be covering the zone around the school and our neighbouring schools will be door knocking across the lower North Shore. The Salvation Army appeals to the Australian community for donations to ensure they can give hope where it is needed, most through a wide range of social welfare and community service programs.

Busking for Breast Cancer

As you may be aware, on Saturday 23 June Redlands will be celebrating our vibrant community with the Redlands@Home round of sports at Macquarie. As part of the fundraising activities on the day we are calling for students and parents with some musical talent to volunteer half an hour to add some music to the day. We are looking to fill busking slots with all donated funds going to Breast Cancer Network Australia. Also Redlands Community Support Tshirts ($20) and the Redlands Pink Caps ($15) are available from the Uniform Shop.

Tanzania Walkers

This weekend a group of students preparing for the Tanzania trip in July are undertaking a 35km walk from Palm Beach to Manly. This will be both great preparation for the hiking they will do up Mount Meru as well as a fundraising activity as they have been sponsored to complete the walk. These funds will go towards their Service project in Tanzania.
