Clean Up Australia Day

We are excited to announce that as per tradition, Redlands will be participating in Clean up Australia Day, which will be held on Sunday 7 March (Week 6).

We have registered a site at Balmoral Beach from 12:00-2:00 pm, and we will be meeting at the Rotunda at 11:50. We will provide the necessary equipment, so just bring yourself!

Come along if you would like to help this great cause, clean up one of our local beaches, clock up some CAS hours or just want to have a good time!

Excitingly, this year, there will also be house points up for grabs for all participants – the House with the most participants will be earning valuable points that go towards the House Shield at the end of the year.

Balmoral Swim Schools Relay Challenge

Redlands will be participating in the 2022 Balmoral Swim Schools Relay Challenge on Sunday 3 April.

The Schools Relay Challenge is a community-based initiative where schools help raise funds for the Children’s Cancer Institute, increase awareness of this important cause and importantly have fun participating in an open water swim relay.

How it works:

  • Each team has 4 swimmers.
  • Each swimmer swims a leg of the relay 200m.
  • Participants can swim in their school year category, or an older category
  • Entry cost are $15 for each swimmer

More information and registration information will be sent out next week.
