Athletics Carnival

Over the last week I have been told by multiple students that the wait from last week’s carnival to our Sport Assembly this week to hear what house won the carnival was excruciating, and they were put out of their misery on Tuesday.

At our Junior School assembly this week there was a huge reaction when Roseby were announced winner for the 2024 Athletics Carnival. Congratulations to Roseby House on their win for 2024 led by Camilla and Charlie who captained the winning House on the day.

Thank you to those parents and carers who were able to attend Tuesday’s assembly as it was a nice to fill Dunnet Hall for our school assembly. And in a special mention for a student who did a great job off the track, Imogen Scattini from Dumolo was acknowledged for all her hard work helping at the carnival as she had the most important job of the day, making sure house race bibs came off at the end of the race and brought back to the start line so those students in the stand could see what house was coming first. Well done and thanks Imogen.

Our 2024 Athletics team  who will be representing Redlands and competing at HICES was also acknowledged at our assembly and a full report will be in next week’s Note Day.

• 1st Place Roseby 1853 points
• 2nd Place McDouall 1761 points
• 3rd Place Cowper 1687 points     
• 4^th Place  Dumolo 1642 points

Congratulations to the following students who were named and presented age champion and runner up at our school assembly.

Well done to all houses for their efforts in house spirit with Cowper coming out on top for Athletics.

Redlands Athletics Carnival Photos

As you would be aware, we organised for a professional sports photographer to attend the Junior School Athletics Carnival to take some photos for parents and the school. The program for the Athletics carnival should you wish to attend to view parts of the day can also be found here as well the parent information package on the day.

A training program has also been uploaded to the Athletics page as a resource for any family who would like to do some preparation with their child for the upcoming Athletics Carnival. This can be downloaded from the FILES section on the Athletics page.
