International Day
International Day
Tuesday 5 April
International Day is the day when we celebrate Redlands’ diverse international community and highlight the cultures of the Languages that we teach.
International Day Lunchtime Stalls
At Lunchtime, there will be international-themed stalls to celebrate the cultures of our languages studied and also students’ own cultures. Students will be able to take part in activities, or to purchase sweet and savoury snacks from stalls led by both students or language teachers. Purchases can be made on the day by card or cash.
UNICEF Australia
All proceeds from sales on the day will be donated to the UNICEF Australia Ukraine Emergency Appeal. UNICEF will use these funds to provide access to health care, clean water and education for up to 7.5 million children affected by the crisis in Ukraine.
International Food
At lunchtime there will also be an opportunity to sample delicious international dishes from China, Japan, France and Spain provided by the Canteen.
