Happy Spring Holidays

I would like to wish all our Redlands House and Prep School families a restful spring holiday break. Let’s hope the weather is kind to us so that we can all enjoy some warmer days.

It has been a term with many varied and exciting learning opportunities for our learners and I am so proud of the way that our students have engaged with them all. My wish is that you too have noticed what a fun term it has been and have also been able to see growth and development in your children in all areas of their academic, social, and emotional learning.

I am most proud of the kindness that our children are showing each other throughout the day in all sorts of situations. I notice this when I am in the playground at break times when I witness sharing of equipment, solving friendship challenges, helping each other when a friend is hurt or sitting alone. In the early years, sometimes it can be tricky demonstrating these skills, but I am so impressed at how far our students have come this year after such an unprecedented start to their school journey due to lock downs and COVID worries.

Happy holidays everyone and I look forward to seeing you all Monday 10 October.

Term 4 Reminders and Information

Students return to school on Monday 10 October in their full summer uniform. Please refer to the Student Planner to view the full summer uniform if you are unsure of what this looks like.

As we enter the warmer months, all students MUST always have a Redlands Prep hat on during recess and lunchtime. If your child is wearing a non-Redlands hat, they will be asked to remove it and sit out the break in the shade.

Term 4 Wellbeing lunchtime activities will change with some new initiatives. Please note that Pokémon Club WILL NOT be on in Term 4 as it will be replaced with a different opportunity. This will mean that no Pokémon cards are to be sent to school in Term 4.

Can I please encourage families to have a look at the new Pulse site and familiarise yourselves as to where to find information about OOSH, the after school sport program and other Prep related information. If you cannot find what you are looking for please get in touch so that we can help you.
