Gala Arts
The Gala Arts production held on Friday evening was a most memorable event that showcased the exceptional artistic talent of our students. The night was a wonderful celebration, with a highlight being the obvious joy and sense of fun exuded by each of our student leaders when introducing each of the items. Their personalities shone through and the strength of their support for each other and gratitude to the staff was very moving. The comments of praise made by guest judge Leah Howard regarding the standard of performances were so encouraging, particularly so for a number of students working towards careers in the Arts beyond the gates of Redlands.
At the conclusion of the evening we enjoyed a video presentation of highlights of the 2020 and 2021 performances, given that the event was online in these years. My thanks to all staff who gave so much energy and time to the production and most significantly to the students for sharing their talent and passion for the Arts.
Master Plan
Thank you to all those parents and carers who provided input to our Master Plan Survey and to the group who took part in the consultation workshop with EPM last week. The Board and Executive team also took part in a workshop with EPM on Saturday and the feedback from the full consultation process will be utilised in developing a draft Master Plan Brief, to be presented to the Board for initial review in October. I will keep our community informed as we work through the process in developing a comprehensive Master Plan for all three of our campuses that aligns with the School’s strategic objectives.
Redlands Spring Fair
Please save the date of Saturday 3 September, 9am-3pm, in your calendars for our Redlands Spring Fair. This will be an exciting day of carnival fun for the whole family, with rides and games for the children, international food stalls and live entertainment. The RPFA will be providing more details about the Spring Fair during the coming weeks.
