Alumni Spotlight
Lisa Nicol, Class of 1986
Acclaimed children’s author and Redlander, Lisa Nicol visited Junior School students in Week 6 to talk about her books, Vincent and the Grandest Hotel on Earth, Dr Boogaloo and the Girl Who Lost Her Laughter, and her upcoming picture book, The Ballad of Dexi Lee.
The students read a number of Lisa’s books and asked her lots of great questions. They were more enthralled to hear she had been a student at Redlands too and had enjoyed her time in Dumolo House!
Rachael Beck, Class of 1989
We recently heard from acclaimed actress and musician Rachael Beck as she reflected on her time at Redlands. Rachael is running holiday workshops and would love Redlands students to come along and learn from the Redlands best!
“Redlands was an excellent springboard for my imagination to be nurtured and nourished. This has served me well in my industry and as a person. I remember the Redlands days fondly and hope every student ends up with the happy memories I have, and of course I hope every student has at least one go at a play or musical theatre.”
