Foundation

I would like to thank all Redlands families and friends who have already supported the Redlands Foundation this financial year by contributing to one of our Funds.

The 2019 Annual Giving is dedicated to supporting the Redlands Scholarship Appeal with the objective to raise sufficient funds to create the Dr Peter Lennox Scholarship in recognition of Dr Lennox’s extraordinary vision and contribution to Redlands.

Dr Lennox has been the embodiment of academic excellence, and during his 12 year tenure, has bequeathed to the School an extraordinary legacy of learning, supported by the development of the Senior Campus Master Plan and New Learning Hub.

Our hope is to be able to make the inaugural presentation of this Scholarship during Dr Lennox’s farewell at Speech Night on 5 December.

Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize Collection

Do not miss this one time opportunity to view the Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize Collection at Redlands.

The Collection, created as a direct result of the acquisitive Prize over 22 years, consists of almost 40 pieces providing a unique and valuable teaching tool and includes pieces from Imants Tillers, Julie Rrap, Lindy Lee, and many others.

This event is on Thursday 16 May from 6.00pm. Tickets available here. Drinks and canapés will be served during the evening. This is a parent only event. Bookings close on Monday 13 May.

Parents will also have an opportunity to meet Cameron Robbins, the contemporary artist who is leading the 2019 Redlands Konica Minolta Artist in Residence (RKMAIR) program from 6 -17 May.

Students have been witnessing first-hand the creative process in action. Cameron is working on constructing an artwork that is capable of harnessing the power of the wind, natural elements and the Redlands built environment to power a drawing machine that will translate the natural forces into drawing works on paper. Many students will have an opportunity to see Cameron in action as well as will hear him speaking at Assembly on Monday. For more information, please visit our website.
